The success of the students and the development of the college depends equally on the contribution of the Managing Committee, Teaching Staff and Guardians. The Parent Teacher Association of the college is giving its full co-operation for various conveniences of the students.

When the Intermediate classes started way back in 1951, three laboratories were constructed, in the new college building at Tagore Town, for the science students. These include one Chemistry Lab, one Physics Lab and one Biology Lab in which maximum 50 students can do the practical work at a time.

Now that the strength of the students have gone up and as per new norms, the maximum students which can be enrolled in one section is 120. Therefore, under the changed circumstance the college needs bigger size laboratories where 120 students can perform practical at a time. Accordingly the Management Committee has decided to build 03 new laboratories to meet the requirements. An estimated amount for the construction of these three laboratories is Rs. 1.5 crores.
